BookMyCostume is committed to deliver your order with good quality packaging within given time frame on a best-effort basis. We ship throughout the week, except Sunday & Public holidays and Festivals. To ensure that your order reaches you in good condition, in the shortest span of time, we ship through India's top courier agencies such as Fedex, Blue Dart, DHL, Aramex, Delhivery and other reputed courier agencies only with express delivery. Delivery availability can be checked by entering address pin code on the product page. In a rare scenario where the pin code is non serviceable, we apologize as we will not be able to deliver your costume order. Some pincodes are also non COD which means that you can place the order through Online Payment mode but not through Cash on Delivery. Similarly in some orders of higher value or volume, we might request you to make full or partial Online payment even if you have opted for Cash on Delivery.
How is the delivery charge calculated for multiple units?
The shipping charge is specified separately for every product. For multiple products ordered the delivery logic adds up the volume & weight of the overall parcel and calculates weight. The delivery fee is calculated separately when a customer orders different products.
Our prices are all inclusive of taxes. All taxes are included with the list prices. If you are a business owner using the costumes for an official purpose, then you may share the GSTIN and we will be able to provide you a relevant bill to avail GST tax credit.
How long does it take for an order to arrive?
Orders are normally dispatched the same day (unless its a bulk order) if it is placed in the morning. We mostly try to dispatch buy orders as early as possible or as per the rental delivery date specified by you at the time of placing the order. Most orders are delivered within 2 to 6 working days. You may choose fast delivery for 1-2 days delivery within metro and other big cities.
For rental costumes orders, please mention the date when the costume will be used, we will ensure that the fancy dress costume reaches you one day prior to the function date (start date) and the return pickup is scheduled one day after the function date (pickup date). Delivery and Pickup of all orders will be duly done as per the address mentioned by you at the time of placing the order. The option to return pickup is not available for Buy option.
Please note that the delivery & pickup of all orders is done on a best-effort-basis. If for some reason, the costume doesn't reach you on time due to unforeseen delay at the delivery partner's end, BookMyCostume will not be responsible for any direct or indirect loss arising due to non receipt of the costume by the expected delivery time. If you select fast delivery and you are living in an Indian metro city, we try to ensure that your order reaches you mostly within one day or latest within 2 days. Otherwise we refund the extra money charged for faster delivery over normal delivery. If it reaches later, you may then even refuse to accept the order in which scenario we will refund you the order cost.
What happens if the fancy dress costume is not available for pickup when the courier staff arrives?
We love our costumes back and request you to keep the costume packet ready on the day the pickup is scheduled. If the courier staff has to return without the costume on the scheduled pickup date, we might not be able to reschedule the pickup and it will be considered that the costume is unavailable for return and will be kept by the user. In such a case, the security deposit will not be refunded.
There are some scenarios that are beyond our customer's control due to emergency or circumstances that leads to delay in returning the costume. We can make a special exception in such a case, kindly drop an email or call us in such a scenario and we can accept late returns by charging some nominal extra money.
What if the product is received in damaged condition?
Although we rarely face such issues due to tamper proof packaging, still if you think you have received the product in a bad condition or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged before delivery, please refuse to accept the package and return the package to the delivery person. Also, please call our customer care at +91 9999490730 or email us at email@example.com mentioning your Order ID. We will personally ensure that a brand new replacement is issued to you with no additional cost. Please make sure that the original product tag and packing is intact.
